Wishlist Wednesday.

{ONE}
Obviously, I won't be getting a BMW any time soon, but I still have a year till I turn 16! There is still time. ;)

{TWO}
As I mentioned in my last post, I really want to replace my current perfume tray with a posh mirrored tray. I love the bevelled edges that this one has.

{THREE}
As much as I love my black gloss hunters, I find that many times I want to wear navy with them, which isn't the best combo. I think pink hunters would look adorable with my school uniform.

{FOUR}
I loved the gold Kate Spade Keds, but unfortunately they are no longer available. I still love the black and pink ones though! this gold one is especially cute!

{SIX}
This scarf can add a nice touch to uniforms in the fall!

{SEVEN}
These monogrammed bangles are the perfect touch to the perfect stack. It would look great with simply a watch and a pearl or Lilly and Laura bracelet.

{EIGHT}
I have had my eye on this bracelet for months. I just need to buy it already!

DIY Washi Tape Dry Erase Board.

Recently, I have had an obsession with Washi tape. Using it is so easy to reinvent ordinary objects into chic new ones!
Here is the finished project. If you want to see how I did it, read on.

What you will need:
2 basic frames {you'll see why}
paint in your choice of color
Washi tape in your choice of color/pattern
a paintbrush
newspaper {I used construction paper because I couldn't find any}

1.
paint your frame! Or if you choose, leave it plain.
don't forget to paint the insides and outsides.

2.
Take the glass out of your frame, and apply the tape, wrapping the excess around it's edges

Make sure to line the edges of the pattern up.
Done for now!

3.
Peel the tape off of the back and trim the edges.

4.
Here is the part where the other frame comes in. take the glass out of it, and put it in front of the Washi panel, and we are done!

Dresser + Jewelry Organization.

I love organizing. cleaning, not so much, but organizing can be so fun!
 My dresser is one of my favorite parts of my room. I love my jewelry, and I think it looks especially good on these adorable jewelry holders.
This giraffe trinket dish is soooo adorable. I love how it is more spacious than most ring holders. It will hold most of my favorite earrings and still have extra room! Buy it here.
This lamp adds a cute pop of color to the display. I think it contrasts nicely with my Kate Spade "Twirl" lotion.
This Painted branch bracelet holder adds a chic touch.

Trays are such a cute way to organize perfumes and body sprays. I think a mirrored tray would look especially good.
I love my painting that I made of my beach house. I think it adds and adorable pop.

buy these glasses here.
My grandfather picked this jewelry box in London when he was serving in World War II. It is one of my most prized possessions and I think it is absolutely gorgeous.
Here is my tall dresser display. I also created This ikat painting.
This is where I store my statement necklaces. I love how the gold looks with the pink walls.

What a stud.

As some of you may know, though everyday I wear earrings I will rarely be caught wearing dangle or chandelier earrings. Actually, I will rarely be caught wearing any others than my classic large pearl studs. So I've decided to branch out and wear some different studs, maybe even chandeliers.
I really do love Kate Spade's new tropical themed line! I also love Kate spade's "gumdrop" earrings and the bow pearl studs in the middle. Overall, Tory Burch and Kate Spade make my favorite studs!
Statement earrings have definitely been a huge trend this spring and summer. I have always loved j.crew's drop earrings and I still do! And of course, we can't forget the infamous Kendra Scott "danielle" earrings. Now if only I was bold enough to actually wear some of these!

Little Black Dress Lookbook

Woo Hoo! first post! I've thought very hard about what I want my first post to be. bold? classic? yes, but what do I really want it to be. My first post should describe me, after all it is my first impression. {no pun intended} it could possibly decide whether or not you like me. {eek!} P.s. thanks for Lara for being my photographer!
If there was one thing I want my blog to be, it's chic. what's more chic than a little black dress? nothing that's what.
 So....Enjoy my "little black dress lookbook"

We caught Cooper in a rare calm state. {that is for .002 seconds}

Props to Lara for letting me use her purse.
