June Favorites.

Hóla! Long time no see! and by long time I mean three days... Anyways! June has been the month of many favorites. Lauren and I were going to film our favorites, as usual, but of course {this seems to happen a lot} the video got deleted off of the card. I even have the thumbnail to prove it. And we looked really good that day. sigh. The world may never know what Lara's favorites were other than this Brandy Melville tee unless you check out her post. You can know what mine are though. :)
I have become re-obssesed with the pink and teal/mint color combo, and also gold jewelry. wait...I'm always obsessed with gold jewelry. Enjoy!

My first favorite is this popcorn from the company "Angie's" Ok, I'll admit that I bought it because of the adorable packaging, but hey! this stuff is delicious! And It's super healthy but doesn't taste like it.

I have been loving this teeny-tiny "micro binder" from staples. I use this type of binder for school and when I was out buying school supplies earlier {yes I plan ahead more than I should} I stumbled upon it an had to have it. At that point I had no idea what I was going to use it for. I have since discovered that it is great for keeping up with videos and blog schedules.

My next favorite is this blush brush from real techniques. It is super soft and I love how dense the bristles are!

I have rediscovered some of my favorite lip products of all time, the ysl "sheer volumpté candy" glossy balms. They have the most amazing, delicate fruity scent and the look the same on your lips.

Hot pink color 62K301
Coral-y orange color 62KN00
Pale pink with gold shimmer color 62K203

My next favorite is my gold monogram necklace from "keri sorely designs" on Etsy. It is 1.5" on an 18" chain. I have been wanting one of these forever, especially a script one like this!

Yet another gold jewelry fav, My Michael Kors "MK5055" watch. I wear it almost every day! It looks great with anything, alone or part of a stack.

My next favorite is these super cute {and selfie worthy} reading glasses from Anthropologie.
I have searched for these perfect reading glasses for ages and I have finally found them! I love their unique shape and the color of the tortoise shell.

Buy them here.

My last thing is this amazing hair cream from bumble and bumble. If you have thick, unruly hair like me this is a must! I also love the smell.

The Return Of The Herringbone Vest.

Ah, the oh so coveted J.crew vest. This small piece of clothing has been an obsession of mine since oh....october when it first came back. But I couldn't justify spending $108 dollars on a vest then. {I would later come to spend $120 on another one} If only I had know how big of a deal this would have become! I had even seen them on Ebay for $400....yeah right!
Fortunately, they have come back again, in July oddly enough, but they are still back!! And on sale for $54. SO FOR HEAVENS SAKE GO GET ONE.

Here are some of my favorite looks that I've seen with the herringbone vest.

Here are some of my Polyvore sets containing it.

Trend I'm Loving: High Waisted Shorts

High waisted shorts exploded in popularity last year, but I never really liked them. Until this summer.
I became so sick of wearing chinos with everything, but I didn't really like regular jean shorts. These look so cute with almost anything and you can easily dress them up, or dress them down!

I love this light wash pair from Garage. They are super comfy too!
Why am I so sassy?
High waisted shorts are so easy to style, that in fact they even look great with a plain white tank.
These are from a shop on Etsy that sells authentic vintage Levi's.
Buy them here.
I have also been loving this headband from Devon Alana!
One of my favorite looks has been stripes with these shorts. It looks proper, yet casual.

I love leopard in all accessories. I think this belt looks great with my pink shirt.
Oh look, more sassiness. I think this outfit looks best with a high pony.

National wear your Lilly day!

June 21st is one of my favorite days for two reasons.
1. It's the first day of summer!
2. It's national wear your Lilly day.
As you know, I have quite the Lilly pulitzer collection. What can I say, I'm your stereotypical preppy white girl! So I've decided to show off some of my pieces. Enjoy!

P.s. Sorry for the amount of dogs in this post, they were "helping".
But I'm sure you can handle the cuteness ;)

These buttercup shorts are my favorite out of all of my Lilly shorts.

With Jacks, of course.
I don't play golf, nor do I live near a golf course, but if I did this is definitely what I would wear.

I bought this dress for $15. what a steal!
I love to throw this dress on when we are going on the boat. It's really cute, comfy, and effortless.
This is my "derby dress" as you can see why.

I love the gorgeous detailing on the back.
Vintage tarnished, ahem* petina-ed.  julep cups only make it better.
Lets not forget swimsuits {obviously not worn together}
{similar} swimsuit Top.
Shoes.  Polo. backpack. Glasses.
{so scholarly}
I especially Love my koozies. they spice up any drink as well as keeping your hand from freezing off.
I use my "cooler" when I go to the beach or pool. I love that it is waterproof and it is adorable.
